Garage footings and floors or house extensions can all be accommodated for. If you don’t have mixes specified we can recommend a suitable mix for your application.
Various footings and groundworks can require a variety of strengths depending on intended use and ground conditions, please ask for advice to assist you making the right choice for your project.
All driveways should be a minimum strength of at least a C35 mix. Do not forget to mention if it is on a slope and we can make it a stiffer mix.
We can also add fibres to help increase strength and reduce surface cracking, fibres are also an important addition if there is a chance of frost.
We can also supply a microsilica mix that is a rapid set mix whereby a 28 day strength can be reached within 48 hours allowing traffic to use areas that have restricted shut down periods.
There are a variety of mixes for this purpose but all general in terms of strength, sometimes the difference is in how wet or dry you want the mix depending on its intended use, just call and discuss and we will be happy to help you.
